The campus of MAI’s headquarters is nestled in the green and luscious smart city of Cyberjaya, Selangor. A 30 minute drive from Kuala Lumpur and its parent ministry, the Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI), MAI’s building is open to the public, industry players and academia to discuss plans, strategies and activities in enhancing the nation’s automotive industry.
MAI’s open space plan was designed to create an environment of creativity, innovation and openness for all industry stakeholders. Our main working area, called the Perdana Innovation Space, houses our core operational executives that cater to the important areas of enhancement within the industry, such as strategic research, supply chain development and human capital development.
A second open space, called the Computing Innovation Space, houses our latest digital capabilities such as the MAI Intelligent Technology Systems (MITS) server and our Knowledge Management System (KMS).
Our lower ground floor houses our auditorium, where numerous programs and activities are held between our stakeholders to further industry needs. Numerous meeting and discussion rooms are also located at our lower ground floor for smaller meetings to take place. Finally, the lower ground floor is home to our Digital Content Development Centre, responsible to create digital content such as videos, graphics and social media content that develops deeper awareness on the automotive industry among our stakeholders and the public at large.
