Renowned Artistes to Feature at Malaysia Autoshow 2017

For the first time, an electrifying music festival merges with Malaysia’s Largest Annual Autoshow. The integration of SoundValley Festival 2017 with the Malaysia Autoshow 2017 will be a whole new experience for visitors this year, and will serve as a common platform for motor enthusiasts and music fans alike, under one roof.

Eleven local and internationally renowned bands from Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan and England will be performing at the SoundValley Festival 2017. The two-day music festival offers different musical flavours and experiences through diverse music genres for all visitors. The bands that will be performing at SoundValley 2017 are Bloc Party, Barasuara, Hujan, Bunkface, Otherside Ochestra, Loudness, Wings, May, Metalasia, FiftyOne50 and Cassandra. The music festival organized by Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI), in collaboration with RSVP Media Sdn Bhd will take place on 11th and 12th of November from 2.00p.m. until 11.30 p.m. at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS) in conjunction with Malaysia Autoshow 2017.

“Music is often part and parcel of the mobility experience. It is only appropriate that Malaysia Autoshow feature SoundValley Festival as part of its programme.” said Dato Madani Sahari, Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Automotive Institute. He also explained that this event greatly compliments and merges music lovers and automotive enthusiasts in an atmosphere of excitement for the visitors who visit Malaysia Autoshow 2017.

Visitors with SoundValley Festival 2017 tickets will be given a complimentary ticket to Malaysia Autoshow 2017 which providing them the best of both worlds.

Early birds of SoundValley Festival 2017 will also enjoy special ticket prices from 9th to 18th of October.

PROGRAM WTP MAI BANTU USAHAWAN-USAHAWAN BENGKEL TINGKATKAN PRESTASI JUALAN

Kuala Terengganu 9 Oktober - Majlis Graduasi Program WTP & Jalinan Perniagaan Sektor Selepas Jualan. Majlis Graduasi Workshop Transformation Program (WTP) anjuran MAI bersama Yayasan Pembangunan Usahawan Terengganu, di Kuala Terengganu telah menghimpunkan 80 bengkel yang berjaya menamatkan sembilan bulan latihan WTP. Majlis berlangsung seiring dengan Majlis Jalinan Perniagaan Sektor Selepas Jualan, yang juga merupakan salah satu program yang dianjurkan MAI. Program ini membantu bengkel-bengkel berhubung terus dengan syarikat-syarikat alat ganti melalui kaedah pemadanan perniagaan (Business Matching).

“Usahawan-usahawan bengkel program WTP di Terengganu telah menunjukkan prestasi menyeluruh yang memberangsangkan, dengan purata peningkatan pendapatan mencecah 71 peratus, atau RM100,000 sebulan,” kata Dato’ Madani Sahari, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif, MAI. Workshop Transformation Program (WTP) anjuran MAI adalah program bimbingan perniagaan bengkel selama 9 bulan yang menggunakan kaedah ‘one-to-one’ Latihan Usahawan Professional yang diberi secara percuma kepada usahawan bengkel. Program WTP mengfokuskan lima aspek pengurusan perniagaan seperti berikut:

1.Pengurusan Akaun

2.Pengurusan Pekerja

3. Pengurusan Jualan

4. Pengurusan Pemasaran

5. Pengurusan Tabiat Keusahawanan.

Sekitar 1409 bengkel di seluruh negara telah menyertai program WTP yang telah bermula sejak tahun 2014. Majlis dirasmikan oleh YB Tuan Haji Roslee Bin Daud, Pengerusi Lembaga Pengarah Yayasan Pembangunan Usahawan Terengganu dan YM Dr. Tengku Khairi A.Rahman, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Yayasan Pembangunan Usahawan Terengganu.

Car Manufacturers celebrated by Government at Malaysia Car of the Year Awards 2016

JOB OPPORTUNITIES AND CAREER ADVANCEMENT IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

The Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) forecasts 27,000 new jobs will be created in the manufacturing sector of the automotive industry for the year 2017. In addition, MAI also forecasts 25,000 new jobs will be created in the aftermarket sector of the automotive industry. To ensure that the expected skills and knowledge of these jobs are met, MAI provides capacity building programmes across all levels from school leavers to undergraduates whom, upon completion of these programmes, will be offered employment.
